Summer

Fall

Make the Most of Your Visit
Start early on lake days. Table Rock Lake marinas fill up fast on summer weekends. Aim for a 7-8 AM launch to snag the best spots.
Pack layers in the shoulder seasons. Ozarks weather can shift quickly in spring and fall. Mornings in the 40s can turn into afternoons in the 70s.
Don't skip the cave tours. Fantastic Caverns and Marvel Cave at Silver Dollar City are both excellent, and they stay 60 degrees no matter what the weather is doing outside.
Weekday visits are the secret. Silver Dollar City, Wonders of Wildlife, and the lake parks are dramatically less crowded Tuesday through Thursday.
