I moved to the Ozarks from Wisconsin over five years ago, and honestly? I wasn't ready for how beautiful this place is. The rolling green hills, the limestone bluffs, the way the light hits Table Rock Lake at sunset, the warmth of the people. It got me from the very first drive through.

Since settling in, I have made it my mission to find the best spots around Southwest Missouri. The diners where everyone knows your order. The trails that lead to a view you will not forget. The festivals that bring the whole community together. Every new discovery just deepens my appreciation for this region.

I created Explore the Ozarks to share those discoveries with you. This guide is a living collection of the places and experiences I have come to love: things to do, places to eat, local events, and the real character of towns like Springfield, Ozark, Nixa, and Branson. It is not a marketing site and it is not a sales pitch. Just an honest, locally proud guide written by someone who is still out there exploring.

By day, I am a Realtor and the founder of Ozarks Sell4Less Real Estate. I help people buy and sell homes throughout Southwest Missouri, and I do it at a lower listing fee because I believe you should not have to give up a huge portion of your equity to sell your house. That same philosophy of value runs through everything I do.

But this guide is separate from the business. It is my way of giving back to the community I love and helping people, whether locals or visitors, experience the Ozarks the way I did: with fresh eyes and genuine enthusiasm.
